Derek Maguire is Managing Director of the Irish Mortgage Corporation, having co-founded the firm in 1990. In recent years, Derek has taken a special interest in the growth and development of MoneyCoach, the financial services arm of Irish Mortgage Corporation. He is a Chartered Accountant, QFA and is a Certified Financial Planner.

Derek Maguire is Managing Director of the Irish Mortgage Corporation, having co-founded the firm in 1990.

In recent years, Derek has taken a special interest in the growth and development of MoneyCoach, the financial services arm of Irish Mortgage Corporation.

He is a Chartered Accountant, QFA and is a Certified Financial Planner.

Joint Managing Director

Liam, as Sales Director, is responsible for ensuring that the teams deliver on their commitment to our clients and continuously perform to the very high standards he sets. Liam has been shaping the company’s strategy & direction for more than 25 years. Liam is a qualified financial advisor and holder of a BA (HONS) degree. A former Laois Senior Footballer, he is very active in GAA coaching and supporting underage sport.

Liam, as Sales Director, is responsible for ensuring that the teams deliver on their commitment to our clients and continuously perform to the very high standards he sets.

Liam has been shaping the company’s strategy & direction for more than 25 years. Liam is a qualified financial advisor and holder of a BA (HONS) degree.

Joanna has over 25 years’ experience in the Irish mortgage and financial services sector, having held roles ranging from Financial Advisor and Bank Manager to Private Banker and Senior Executive within some of the country’s largest financial institutions. She first worked with IMC over two decades ago and rejoined the company in 2025. Joanna now leads the Sales Management team and is a member of the Senior Leadership Team at IMC.

She is a fully Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA), a European Financial Advisor (EFA), and holds a Professional Diploma in Corporate Law & Governance from the Law Society of Ireland. Kalem Clarke joined the team as a mortgage administrator with IMC recently and is already an integral member of the completions team. Formerly a student at UCD he is currently working towards getting his QFA exams.

Kalem has over 5 years experience within the financial planning industry. Annette is an experienced Risk and Governance professional, boasting over a decade of experience within Risk & Compliance, backed by her qualification as a Licensed Compliance Officer (LCOI). She possesses deep expertise in Compliance and Risk Management including Consumer Protection, Conduct Risk, AML and Data Protection.  Prior to joining IMC, Annette worked as a Senior Manager in KBC Bank and has gained vast experience in Operations, Compliance and Retail Products Departments.
